Zabriskie, Zella M.
Zabriskie, Zella M. age 96 of Stroudsburg, PA passed away peacefully Tuesday July 23, 2019 in the Pleasant Valley Manor Stroudsburg, PA following a long illness. Born and raised in Boonton, she had resided there most of her life. Zella had resided in Stroudsburg, PA for the last twenty eight years.
Daughter of the late Walter and Helen Hopping, Zella had a long career with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in Parsippany, NJ until her retirement. Mrs. Zabriskie enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family especially her grand and great grandchildren. Zella was pre deceased by her first husband Albert Metz in 1987 as well as her second husband John Zabriskie in 2013.
Zella was also predeceased by her sisters Edna Gould and Helen Booth and her brothers Harold and Walter Hopping. Survivors include her son Albert R. and his wife Peggy Metz, her grandchildren Deborah and her husband Mohan Singh, Jennifer and her husband John Zweig and Timothy and his wife Janice Metz. Also surviving are her great grandchildren Dylan Singh, Lucas Metz and Aubrey Metz.
Memorial Visitation will be held Tuesday July 30, 2019 from 7 to 8:30 PM immediately followed by Memorial Services at 8:30 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ. online condolences through www.iliff-ruggierofuneralhome.com
