Young, Jocelyn A. Wagner age 76 of the Hampton Heights section of Lafayette Twp., passed away peacefully Thursday July 27, 2017 at the Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice Fredon Twp., NJ following a long illness. Born in Lafayette, she has resided there for most of her life.
Daughter of the late James and Florence (Wendt) Wagner, Jocelyn had worked many years with Thomas & Betts formerly Elastimold Corp of Hackettstown, NJ until her retirement in 1989. A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she loved spending time with her family especially her grandsons. Jocelyn also enjoyed her many trips to Amish country as well as antiquing.
Mrs. Young was pre deceased by her husband Charles Young, her companion Marty Bedell, her grandson Dylan Pegg, her brothers Francis (Bud) Wagner, Robert Wagner, her sisters Mercedes Wagner Pickett and Jean Wagner Hough. Survivors include her son Dean Pegg and his companion Beth Boyd, her grandson Dalton Pegg, her brother James and his wife Roberta Wagner, her three sisters Audrey Wagner Ryan, Blanch Wagner Schick and Gloria Wagner Beemer as well as her many nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services and a celebration of life for family and friends will be held Saturday August 19, 2017 from 1-4 PM in the Branchville American Legion Post #157 located at #325 Rt. 206 Branchville, NJ 07826.
