Yelenovsky, Charles W. age 86 of Springville, PA died peacefully Monday March 24, 2014 in the Montrose Senior Living Center Montrose, PA following a brief illness. Born in Bayonne, NJ he grew up there and had lived there many years. Charles had also resided in Middleville for many years before moving to Pennsylvania. Son of the late Joseph and Susan (Minarich) Yelenovsky, Charles was a graduate of the Bayonne High School who proudly served in the US Navy during WWII.

A Carpenter and General Contractor by trade, Mr. Yelenovsky was self employed for many years until his retirement. A former parishioner of the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church Swartswood, NJ, Charles was pre deceased by his loving wife Lorraine (Macon) Yelenovsky in 1981. He was also pre deceased by his brothers John, Joseph, Michael and George Yelenovsky. Survivors include his nephew James Yelenovsky, his nieces Sue Ann Berkefeld and Denise McGuire, as well as his long time friend Paul Bosse. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday March 28, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church #203 Newton Swartswood Rd. Swartswood, NJ. Interment will immediately follow in the Stillwater Cemetery Stillwater, NJ. Visitation will be held Thursday evening March 27th from 6 to 8 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ 07860.
