Williams, Dorothy C. age 89 of Green Township, NJ died Tuesday August 7th, 2012 at Andover SubAcute Care Center in Andover, NJ following a long illness.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, she resided in Mountainside, NJ before moving to Sparta in 1988, where she resided until 2011. Daughter of the late Henry L. and Dorothy (Mitchell) Oesterheld, Dorothy had worked for 30 years as a computer IT for Hoechst/Celanese Pharmaceutical Co. in Bridgewater, NJ, retiring in 1989. While living in Mountainside, NJ she served her community as a Cub Scout den mother and attended Our Lady of Lords RC Church. Once she moved to Sparta, NJ she attended Blessed Kateri Church.
Mrs. Williams was predeceased by her husband Walter A. Williams in 1977.
Survivors include two sons; Jeffrey W. Williams and his wife Jeanne of Green Twp. And Timothy H. Williams and his wife Debra of Rumson, NJ, two sisters; Shirley Paul of Huntsville, AL and Jean Jacksina and her husband George of Metuchen, NJ, as well as six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday August 10, 2012 at 7:00PM in the Iliff -Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt206) Newton, NJ. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday from 3:30PM to 7:00PM.
