William F. Higbie, Jr.

William F. Higbie, Jr. – age 71 of Sandyston Township, N.J. passed away at Homestead Rehabilitation Center, Saturday March 7, 2020. Born in Hackensack, N.J., Mr. Higbie and his wife located in the Sandyston area 38 years ago.

William received his master degree in Theater and Speech from Montclair State University and taught at Sussex County Vo-Tech, and was an adjunct professor at Sussex County Community College until retirement. Mr. Higbie will be remembered by family as being an enthusiastic professional banjo player. He also was an active participant of Black Powder enactments with Garden State Reenactors, Ranging Company, and the Blue Ridge Rifles.

The son of William F. Higbie, Sr. and Dorothy G. Ehrhardt, William is survived by his beloved wife Monica P. Hubbard-Higbie. Also surviving are sons Logan Higbie, Benjamin Higbie and wife Yuphaphun.
