Wendland, Dolores L.
Wendland, Dolores L. age 85 of Frankford Twp., NJ died peacefully Wednesday September 28, 2016 following a long illness. Born in Iselin, NJ she had resided in Morris, Essex Counties and Newton most of her life.
Daughter of the late George and Frances (McInnis) Chadwick, Dolores was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and homemaker. She had served as a Girl Scout Troop leader as well as a Boy Scout Den Mother in Wharton and Newton for many years. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Dolores was pre deceased by her beloved husband Peter in 1999 as well as her brother George Chadwick and her sister Joan Strack. Survivors include her daughters Donna L. Flugel, Barbara J. Wendland and Carol A, Marino, her sons Peter R., James F. and William H. Wendland. Also surviving are her nine grandchildren five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation and funeral services were held Saturday October 1, 2016 in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt.206) Newton, NJ.
