Weisbrot, Emil age 95 of Lake Tranquility, NJ died peacefully Friday evening June 14, 2013 at the Forest Manor Care Center Hope, NJ. Born in Newark, NJ he had resided Scotch Plains and North Branch, NJ.
Emil had also lived in Schnecksville, PA before moving to Lake Tranquility several years ago. Son of the late Joseph and Katy (Brojanowska) Weisbrot, Emil had served in the US Army during WWII. He had worked many years as a Maintenance Mechanic for the Jacobson Nut Manufacturing Co. Kenilworth, NJ until his retirement in 1977. Mr. Weisbrot was a former member of the Green Twp. Senior Citizens. He also enjoyed camping, boating, anything mechanical and all around handyman work. A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and sibling, Emil was pre deceased by his beloved wife Helen (Biblyk) in 1997 as well as his five siblings.
Survivors include his son Gary F. Weisbrot of Lake Tranquility, his daughter Gail Baron of Philadelphia, PA, his grandchildren Heather Weisbrot of Colorado Spgs, CO and Alicia Garofano of Lake Tranquility, NJ. Also surviving are his great grandchildren Lucas and Mason Garofano.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday June 18, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ. Interment will follow in the Hollywood Memorial Park Cemetery Union, NJ.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday June 17th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
