Weber, Elsa Vera
Weber, Elsa Vera age 86 of Frankford Twp., NJ died peacefully Tuesday August 16, 2016 at her home. Born in the County of Konigsberg East Prussia Germany, Elsa grew up there. At the end of WWII, being cut off by the Russian advance, she was a refuge and escaped to the west, living in West Germany until coming to the United States in 1951. A longtime resident of Wayne, She has resided in Frankford Twp. since 1980.
Daughter of the late Herman and Frieda (Swendik) Roveinsky, Elsa had worked in Germany as a Nanny for many years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother sister, friend and homemaker.
Mrs. Weber was a dedicated caregiver to her son Richard who died in 1978 and her daughter Eva C. who died in 2001 both predeceased from complications of Muscular Dystrophy. She was also co-owner and office manager of their family business Weber Cabinet Shop in Wayne and Frankford Twp., NJ for many years.
Elsa is survived by her beloved husband of sixty five years Arnold Alfred Weber as well as family in Germany and many friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday August 19, 2016 at 10:30 AM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 main St. (Rt. 206) Newton. Interment will follow in the George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery Paramus, NJ. Visitation will be at the funeral home Thursday August 18th from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
