Wask, Helena age 72 of Hampton Twp., NJ died Monday April 15, 2013 at the St. Clare’s Hospital Dover Campus following a long illness. Born in Passaic, NJ she had resided in Rutherford and has lived in Hampton Twp. since 1974.
The former owner of the Tail Wagers Boutique in Newton, she was a true animal lover. Besides her many cats, Helena especially loved her Standard Schnauzers, whom she entered regularly in dog shows. Miss. Wask was also active in Animal Rescue.
A veteran of the US Air Force, Helena served from 1962 to 1966 reaching the rank of Luftenant. Miss. Wask had worked thirty years as an X-ray Technician for the former Saddle Brook Hospital, now Kessler Institute in Saddle Brook, NJ until her retirement.
Survivors include her brother Raymond and his wife Arlene Wask of Springhill FL, her nephews Richard Wask of Newton, NJ and Gregory Wask of Springhill, FL, and her niece Alicia Wask also of Springhill, FL.
