Volpe, Jonathan F.
Volpe, Jonathan F. age 32 of Wayne Township, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 26, 2020 following a long illness, surrounded by his family members. Born in Newton, N.J., Jonathan spent most of his life in the Branchville / Frankford area of N.J.
Jonathan attended Sussex County Community College and was a 2007 graduate of High Point Regional High School, attended Frankford Township Elementary School. Jonathan will be remembered for his love of basketball and playing football during his school years. He was also a member of the Boy Scouts of America. Jonathan was a devout Catholic and member of the Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church.
He is survived by his father Joseph A. Volpe of West Orange, N.J., mother Lisa R. Fried and husband Tracy of Newton, N.J. Jonathan is also survived by brother Joseph S. Volpe and his fiancé Shari Boyle of West Orange, N.J. Niece and nephew Gia Volpe and Skylar Boyle also of West Orange, N.J.
Arrangements are being handled by the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ. A memorial service will be held Saturday September 5, 2020 at 3:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Father Michael Tangorra officiating. Memorial visitation will begin at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
