Van Bruinisse, Kathleen M.
Kathleen M. Van Bruinisse age 71 of Hampton Twp. passed away peacefully Wednesday March 1, 2017 at her home following a long illness. Born in Morristown, she grew up in Randolph, had lived many years in Smithtown, Long Island before moving to Hampton Twp. in 1987.
Daughter of the late Nicholas and Josephine (Camel) Nagy, Kathleen was a graduate of Dover High School class of 1963. A loving and devoted homemaker, she had also worked as an administrative assistant over the years with the Pentagon Arlington VA, then Bozzo and Collini MD Newton and more recently Dr. Frank Salvatore Sparta, NJ.
An avid cook, baker and gardener, she hosted her own Blog “Bake Away With Me”. She was a member of a Gourmet Cooking Club as well as the Possaghi Rd. Ladies Bunco Club. A parishioner of the Our Lady Queen of Peace RC Church Branchville, Kathleen loved traveling especially her family trips to Europe.
Mrs. Van Bruinisse was pre deceased by a brother Nicholas Nagy Jr in 2000. Survivors include her beloved husband of forty nine years William, her sons Michael and his wife Nicole, Dennis Van Bruinisse and her daughter Jennifer and her husband Josh Perl. Also surviving are her brother Paul and his wife Ellen Nagy, her sister Susanne and her husband Frank Martone as well as her grandchildren Cole and Ryan Van Bruinisse, Josie, Leo and Nathan Perl and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday March 6, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Our Lady Queen of Peace RC Church Rt. 206 Branchville. Visitation will be held Sunday March 5, 2017 from 2-5 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home 156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton.
