Tibus, Scotty J, Sr.
Tibus, Scotty Joe age 46 of Andover Borough passed away Monday July 3, 2017 at the Morristown Memorial Care Center following a long illness. Born in Dover, NJ he was a resident of the Borough most of his life.
Son of the late Jack Tibus, Scotty was a graduate of the Newton High School class of 1989. He worked over twenty five years as a professional office furniture builder and installer. Scotty was an ardent NY Giants and Yankees fan and he enjoyed playing golf and softball as well as music of any kind.
Survivors include his son Scotty Tibus Jr., his daughter Hailey Tibus, his mother Toni Brewer and her longtime companion Sam Courtright. Also surviving are his brothers Leif Brewer and Dennis Tibus, his extended family Todd, Lena, Sammy, Michelle and her husband Freddie.
A Graveside Funeral Services will be held Thursday July 13, 2017 at 11 AM in the Andover Cemetery #19 Lenape Rd. Andover, NJ immediately followed by a celebration of life at the Newton VFW Post #5360 #85 Mill St. Newton, NJ. Visitation will be held Wednesday July 12th from 6 to 9 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home 156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ.
