Stanek, Mildred A. age 86 of Hampton Twp., NJ died peacefully Friday July 4, 2014 at Bristol Glen Newton, NJ. Born and raised in Mayfield, PA she had resided many years in Newark and East Hanover before moving to Hampton Twp. in 2005.

Daughter of the late Peter and Eva Krohta; Mildred had worked many years as a Secretary for the Ingersoll Rand Corp. of E. Hanover, NJ until her retirement. A devout parishioner of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church Newton as well as a former parishioner of the St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church E. Hanover, Mildred served as a Eucharistic Minister. She was also a member of the Don Bosco Columbiettes #7784 Newton and an active member of the Hampton Twp. Senior Citizens.

Mrs. Stanek was pre deceased by her beloved husband Frank as well as her brother Michael Krohta, survivors include her sons David and his wife Michaela of Morristown and Thomas and his wife Barbara of Fredon Twp, and her daughter Barbara and her husband Robert Blanton of Fredon Twp. Also surviving are her grandchildren Michael Brian, Whitney, Matthew and Emily Stanek and Conner and Christian Blanton.

Visitation will be held Monday July 7th from 4 to 7 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday July 8th at 9:30 AM in the St. Rose of Lima RC Church #312 Ridgedale Ave. E. Hanover, NJ 08936. Interment will immediately follow in the Gate of Heaven RC Cemetery E. Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice #99 Sparta Ave. Newton, NJ.
