Spatarella, Antina D. “Tina” age 82 of Stillwater, NJ passed away peacefully Saturday October 7, 2017 at the Andover Nursing Home following a long illness. Born November 5, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY she had resided in Queens, NY for many years. Tina had spent many summers in Stillwater, moving there permanently in 1971.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Lucia (Ferrara) Lentini, Tina graduated from the Franklin K. Lane High School Queens, NY. In the 1960’s Tina was a Girl Scout Troop Leader and in her later years she volunteered as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters through the Stillwater School System. She was a long time parishioner of the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church Swartswood, NJ. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend of many, Tina had worked in the Social Security Office Newton, NJ until her retirement in 1993. Following her retirement she and her late husband of fifty four years Rudolph “Rudy” fulfilled their dream of traveling extensively throughout Italy and Europe.

Predeceased by her brother Anthony V. Lentini Sr, Antina is survived by her daughters Suzanne C. Wallace of Stillwater and Lisa Spatarella-Kivler of Dingmans Ferry, PA. Also surviving are her grandchildren Marc and his wife Christine, Elizabeth, Adrienne, Anthony and Tina, her great granddaughter Jolene as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday October 14, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church #203 Swartswood Rd. Swartswood, NJ. Entombment will follow in the St. Joseph RC Cemetery Mausoleum Newton, NJ. Visitation will be held Friday October 13th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to www.stjude.org.
