Skipp, Margaret Peggy
Skipp, Margaret “Peggy” age 59 of Newton died unexpectedly Tuesday March 25th, 2014 at her home. Born and raised in Newton, she was a lifelong resident. Daughter of the late Gordon and Elaine (Coates) Skipp, Peggy was a graduate of the Newton high School class of 1972. She was later graduated from the University of Bridgeport Connecticut receiving her Bachelors Degree.
A former member of the First United Methodist Church of Newton, Peggy was the Site Director of the Easter Seals Society Franklin NJ Branch. A caring friend of many, Peggy loved her pets. She also enjoyed traveling to flea markets and garage sales. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Miss. Skipp is survived by her companion William Goodman of Mt. Arlington, as well as her many friends and co workers. Funeral Services will be held Saturday March 29th, 2014 at 9:30 AM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ 07860. Interment will immediately follow in the Newton Cemetery. Visitation in the Funeral home will be held Friday March 28th from 2-4 PM.
