Scuito, Dominick D.
Dominick D. Sciuto, age 86 of Vernon Twp., NJ passed away on Friday, July 18th, 2014 at the Newton Medical Centre. Son of the late Anthony and Mary (LoMonico) Sciuto, Dominick grew up in Paterson before moving to Bloomingdale, NJ where he lived for many years, eventually settling in the Highland Lakes section of Vernon in 2005.
After proudly serving his country in both the US Army and US Air Force, Dominick worked as an engineer for Bell Telephones in Parsippany, Passaic, and Riverdale for 38 years. A dedicated and loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he enjoyed football, baseball, and family picnics, and he was a member of the Vernon Twp. Senior Citizens.
Predeceased by his parents and his grandson, Michael Bresett, Dominick is survived by his sons James and his wife Amy and Christopher Sciuto, his daughters Charlotte Struble and her husband Tom Christ, Dawn and Craig Morris, and Donna Bresett, his brother Jack Sciuto, and his sisters Annette, and Louise, and Linda Sciuto. He is also survived by his ten loving grandchildren: Chad, Jamie, Lyndsey, Courtney, Joseph, Justin, Ariel, Michele, Gregory, and Lauren, and one great-grandchild, Ava.
