Patricia A. Salvatoriello age 65, of Lafayette, NJ died suddenly June 29, 2017 at Newton Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Paterson, NJ, Patricia spent her childhood years in Pompton Lakes, NJ. then resided in the Long Valley area between 1994 – 2006, later moving to her home in Lafayette where she spent the last 10 years.

Daughter of the late John J. & Elizabeth R. (Dempsey) Rainey she was a retired Accountant/Bookkeeper for the family business, Cambridge Sheet Metal of Whippany, NJ. Patricia was an active member of the Rosary Bead Society at St. Jude the Apostle Church – Hamburg, NJ. Her passion was raising and training therapy dogs with which she visited many local schools, and enjoyed her retirement years with her family.

Survivors include her daughters Amy E. Codella & husband Anthony Jr., Lisa M. Pinto & husband J.P. Also surviving are brothers Charlie T. Rainey & wife Valda, Jack (John) Rainey & wife Eileen, pre-deceased by brother Thomas P. Rainey. Surviving sisters include Eileen Atterbury & husband John, Peggy R. Zvalaren & husband Michael, Kathleen R. Staub & husband Norman, Betty Ann Ettinger & husband Robert. Patricia leaves one cherished grandchild – A.J. Codella and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will be held Sunday July 9, 2017 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ. Mass will be celebrated Monday July 10, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Jude the Apostle Church – Hamburg, NJ with interment to follow at Christ the King Cemetery – Franklin Lakes, NJ In lieu of flowers family requests donations to O.S.C.A.R animal rescue: 155 Stanhope-Sparta Rd.
