Ross, John Vincent
Ross, John Vincent age 47 of East Stroudsburg, PA died Monday March 4, 2013 at the Pocono Medical Center. Born in Jersey City, NJ he had lived many years in Sussex County, NJ before moving to Pennsylvania fifteen years ago.
A graduate of the high Point Regional High School class of 1983, John was working as a Service Writer for the TA Travel Center Columbia, NJ. Mr. Ross was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Milford, PA. A quiet and friendly man, John enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
John was pre deceased by his father Raymond D. Ross Sr. in September 2012 as well as his siblings Frank and Steven Ross and Helen McKenna. Survivors include his wife Tina (Ravo), his mother Helen (Feeley) Ross of Newton, his brothers Raymond of Mystic, CT, Robert of Branchville, William of Surfside Bch., SC, David of Matamoras, PA, Patrick Sr. of Branchville, and Brian of Matamoras, PA, his sisters Susan Losey of Milford, PA and Roseann Sliker of Newton. Also surviving are his many nieces and nephews.
Memorial funeral services will be held Saturday March 9th, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral home 156 Main St (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ 07860. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services for visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Newton VFW 85 Mill St. Newton, NJ or the Andover Boro Volunteer Fire Dept. 137 Main Street Andover, NJ 07821.
