Polizos, Jennifer L.
After a prolonged battle with cancer, Jennifer L. Polizos of Vernon, New Jersey died on September 6, 2017, at Newton Memorial Hospital, at the age of 49. She leaves behind her husband, John, and her children, Thomas, Katarina, Nikolas, and Lukas Polizos.
Jennifer was born to parents James and JoAnna Desnoyer on March 10, 1968, in South Weymouth, Massachusetts, where she lived and ultimately moved to New Jersey.
Jennifer was a strong and driven individual; a loving parent who balanced her time between work and soccer games. She lived her life to the fullest through her four beautiful children and their numerous extracurricular activities. When diagnosed with lung cancer in 2015, she remained dedicated in her work, her family, and in her will to fight her illness. She remained a loving, strong, and focused woman even throughout her final months.
Jennifer will be loved and missed by surviving husband and children, as well as her mother, JoAnna Coyne; her step-father, Herb Coyne; her in-laws, George and Vassiliki Polizos, and Patricia Wheeler; numerous nieces and nephews; and countless friends and family members. The family would especially like to thank the staff of the RCCA – Regional Cancer Care Associates of Sparta and Newton Memorial Hospital for their constant care and attentive treatment.
As her end of life wishes, Jennifer requested to be cremated with no wake or funeral, but instead a Life Celebration. In lieu of flowers, please direct all donations to the RCCA – Regional Cancer Care Associates of Sparta or to any Sussex County Animal Care Center of your choice. Jennifer’s Life Celebration will be held at the Hawk’s Nest, located on the second floor of the Red Tail Lodge at Mountain Creek Resort #200 State Route 94 Vernon, NJ 07462 on Tuesday, September 19th from 6:00 PM – 9:00PM.
