
Perrone, Alfred
Perrone, Alfred F., age 87 of Budd Lake, NJ, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover. Son of the late Carlo and Maria (Quarto) Perrone, Alfred was born in the Bronx, NY and was a graduate of Leonardo High School in Middletown.
Mr. Perrone was a proud World War II Navy Veteran and garment and pattern maker, owning and operating Perrone, Inc. in Newark, NJ. Alfred was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Nutley, NJ and current parishioner of St. Michaels RC Church in Netcong, NJ. He was also a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
Pre-deceased by his parents, his baby brother Guillermo, brother Frank Perrone, and sisters Grace Dooley and Cynthia Perrone, he is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Josephine R. (Visco) Perrone, his son Carl A., Esq. and wife Frances Perrone of Flanders, NJ, daughter Maria Perrone and her husband Andre von Suppiny of Byram, NJ, and his brother Emanuel Perrone of Fords, NJ. Also surviving are five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 14th, 2015 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home, 156 Main Street (Route 206), Newton, NJ 07860. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, April 15th, 2015, 10:30 AM at the St. Michaels RC Church in Netcong, NJ. Burial will follow at the Glendale Cemetery, Bloomfield, NJ.
