Paul A. Schupp
Paul M. Schupp – age 68 of Lafayette, N.J. passed away unexpectedly at Newton Medical Center, Friday March 6, 2020. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Paul spent his childhood there before moving to Chatham, N.J. and then Wantage Twp., for 28 years, eventually settling in Lafayette, N.J. four years ago.
Mr. Schupp was a produce manager for the Ronetco Corp., and worked at the Byram Shop-Rite store for 15 years before his retirement in July 2019. Paul was a member of the Holy Counselor Lutheran Church Vernon, N.J., where he enjoyed singing in the church choir. Remembered by his family as adoring his children and grandchildren, Mr. Schupp thoroughly enjoyed camping and vacation cruises.
The son of J. Donald Schupp and Eleanor Kirsch-Schupp, Paul is predeceased by his brother John Schupp. Survivors include his beloved wife of 32 years Barbara J. Mayers-Schupp. Sons John T. Dean and wife Alena, Robert D. Schupp and wife Jessica. Daughters Belinda L. Thonebe and husband Frederick, Tammy E. Thom and Amanda M. Schupp and fiancé Alfred Bermel. Also survived by step-father Robert Buck, step-mother Carol Schupp.
Visitation will be at the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home 156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, N.J. between the hours of 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Tuesday March 10, 2020. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday March 11, 2020 at the funeral home.
