Patrick, Raymond S. age 82 of Andover, NJ died Thursday September 12, 2013 at the Andover Nursing Home Andover, NJ. Born in Elizabeth, NJ he had resided there most of his life moving to Springwater, NY in 2006 and back to New Jersey in 2009.
Son of the late Rocus and Helen (Ruzga) Patrick, Raymond served in the US Army during the Korean War. A US Postal Service employee, he worked many years in the Elizabeth Post Office. A member of the Elizabeth knights of Columbus, Raymond was an avid outdoorsman.
Mr. Patrick was pre deceased by his beloved wife Georginia B. (Gribas) in January 2013 as well as his son Raymond A. in 2003. Survivors include his daughters Susan Eggert of Springwater, NY and Georgann Naismith of Stockholm, NJ. Also surviving are his four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren as well as his sister Anne Ruzga.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be heldMonday September 16th, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church #294 Sparta Ave. Sparta, NJ. Interment will immediately follow in the St. Gertrude RC Cemetery Colonia, NJ. Visitation will be held Sunday September 15th from 5-7 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home, 156 Main Street, (Route 206)Newton, NJ 07860.
