Patrick, Georginia age 81 of Elizabeth, NJ died Thursday January 31, 2013 in the Newton Memorial Hospital. Born and raised in Elizabeth, she has lived there most of her life. Daughter of the late George and Anna (Chrobak) Gribas, Georginia was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sibling and homemaker.
A former parishioner of the St. Hedwig’s Roman Catholic Church Elizabeth, she was a culinary phenomenon. Mrs. Patrick was the sole proprietor of a private catering service for many years, and was well known for her baking, Wedding Cake creations, candy making and cooking. Georginia also enjoyed camping and spending quality time with her family. Pre Deceased by her son Raymond A. Patrick in 2003, she is survived by her beloved husband of sixty two years Raymond S.. Also surviving are her two beloved daughters Susan Eggert of Springfield, NY and Georgann Naismith of Stockholm, NJ, as well as her brother George Gribas, her four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday February 5, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church Sparta, NJ immediately followed by interment in the St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Cemetery Colonia, NJ. Visitation will be held Monday February 4th, 2013 from 6 to 8PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ.
