Pagano, George age 98 of Frankford Twp., NJ died at home peacefully with his loving family by his side Saturday September 6th, 2014. Born in Gaggi, Italy, George came to the United Sates in 1928 settling in the Little Italy Section of New York. He had lived many years in Brooklyn before coming to Frankford Twp. in 2007.

Son of the late Giuseppe and Maria (Gulotta) Pagano, George proudly served in the United States Army during WWII. He was a barber and the owner operator of George’s Barber Shop in Brooklyn, NY from 1945 until 1978. A former parishioner of the St. Thomas of Aquinas RC Church Brooklyn, he was also a parishioner of the Our Lady Queen of Peace RC Church., Branchville NJ.

Mr. Pagano was pre deceased by his beloved wife of sixty two years Josephine (Nucifora) Pagano in 2001 as well as a son Joseph Pagano in 1985 and his brothers Frank in 2003 and Joseph in 2000. Survivors include his sons Dominick of E. Brunswick and Anthony of Frankford Twp, as well as his six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and his sister Domenica Albrechtsen of Orlando, FL.

Visitation will be held Monday September 8th from 6 to 8 PM in the Iliff Ruggiero Funeral Home, 156 Main Street, Newton, N.J. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday Sept. 9th at 1:00 PM in the St. John’s RC Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel Middle Village Queens, NY. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Compassionate Care Hospice #350 Sparta Ave. Sparta, NJ 07871.
