Morris, Leroy “Toni” James
Morris, Leroy “Toni” James age 82 of Andover Twp., NJ passed away peacefully Sunday September 3, 2017 at the Barn Hill Care Center Newton., NJ. Born in Hasbrouck Heights, Toni had lived in Pompton Plains, Nutley and Hackettstown for many years before moving to Sussex County.
Son of the late James and Christina Morris, He proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War. Mr. Morris had a long career as a mechanic for General Motors in Wayne and Hackensack, NJ. A regular NFL fan, Toni will be missed by his family and friends.
Pre deceased by his first wife Phoebe Morris as well as his second wife Anna Lucille Governale in 2012, he is survived by his nieces Theresa Orleanski of Lafayette, NJ and Ann Marie Tucci of Glenwood, NJ.
A graveside memorial service will be held Monday September 11, 2017 at noon in the Laurel Grove Memorial Park Mausoleum #295 Totowa Rd. Totowa, NJ.
