Mocerino, Celestine R. “Celli”
Mocerino, Celestine R. “Celli” age 52 of Green Twp., NJ died Monday October 24, 2011 in Green Twp., NJ following a long illness. Born in and raised in South Philadelphia, PA she had resided there and in Green Twp., NJ for many years.
Celestine had worked many years for several companies such as the former Peoples Express Airlines, Drew Chemical, Ciba Consumer as well as the Hallmark Card Co.; But most of all she enjoyed being a homemaker for her family. An active parishioner and volunteer of the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church Andover, she also was very active in her community. She was the founder of the Red Mittens Christmas Giving Tree for needy children and seniors. Mrs. Mocerino was also a volunteer with BARKS and was a true pet lover, especially her cats Chester, Winnie, Casey and Blinkin as well as her dog Jazzy.
Pre deceased by her father the late Ernest Pizzuto, she is survived by her loving husband Mark, her son Michael E. as well as her daughter Stephanie all of Green Twp., NJ. Also surviving are her mother Ruth (Novak) Pizzuto and her sister Bernadette Pizzuto both of Mt Laurel, NJ, her father in law Egisto Mocerino of Madison, NJ as well as several cousins.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday October 27th, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church Rt. 571 Andover, NJ. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday Oct. 26th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt206) Newton, NJ.
