HAMPTON – Barbara Ann Miller, 74, of Manville NJ, formerly of Sussex, NJ, went home to glory on May 12, 2015, at Somerset Medical Center. She was born on April 2, 1941, to the late Arlie (Kervatt) Brink and Scott Leek and spent most of her life in Sussex County. Barbara was predeceased by her husband of 37 years, Edward Miller, in 2013.

Barbara graduated Sussex High School in 1958. She worked tirelessly to provide for her family, working as a nurse’s aide, home health aide, and most recently as a medical biller prior to her retirement. She always found time though to make special memories for her family. Her last days were spent with her family surrounding her sharing all their memories.

Barbara was an avid bowler and loved card games, especially pinochle. She loved being involved in the lives of her grandchildren, who affectionately called her “Mom Mom.” In the final years of her life, Barbara lived with her daughter Carol, and loved interacting with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her children Alex Klein, of Milford, PA, Cathy (Walter) Gessner, of Zanesvillle, OH, Bill (Danielle) Klein, of Montague, NJ, Tom (Laura) Klein, of Craigsville, VA, and Carol (David) DeRitter, of Manville, NJ; as well as her brother, Glen (Vickie) Brink, 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her late husband, Barbara was predeceased by her brother, William Leek, and her sister, Carol (Brink) Anthony.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 23, at the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home, 156 Main St. (Route 206), Newton, NJ 07860. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the services. There will be a private interment in Glenwood Cemetery.
