Medina, Anthony Joel
Medina, Anthony Joel age 29 of Green Twp., NJ passed away unexpectedly Saturday May 14, 2022 following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Morristown, NJ he has lived in Green Twp. most of his life.
A 2010 graduate of Newton High School, Anthony was a talented athlete who was active in the football and wrestling programs, as well as playing in a softball league for many years. Following High School, Anthony went on to earn his Bachelor’s in Accounting from William Paterson University. He had been working as a 401K Transaction Coordinator with ADT of Florham Park, NJ.
Anthony attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church Tranquility, NJ, Anthony was a quiet and encouraging man with an incredible sense of humor as well as an ability to light up a room with his warm and friendly personality. A true Green Bay Packers and NY Yankees fan, He was a devoted family man who also enjoyed Marvel Comics especially Wolverine.
Anthony is survived in life by his beloved parents Joel and Nolvia (nee Pineda) Medina, his son Jax, his loving sisters Cristina, Claudia, Erika and Nicole Medina. Also surviving are his many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held Thursday May 19, 2022 from 5 to 9 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main Street (Rt. 206), Newton, NJ. Funeral Services will be held Friday May 20, 2022 at 11 AM in the Seventh Day Adventist Church #1 Acadamy Lane (Tranquility) Andover, NJ 07821.
