Longcor, Charles C. Jr.
Longcor, Charles C. Jr. age 81 of Wantage Twp., NJ died Wednesday April 27th, 2011 at the Barn Hill Care Center following a brief illness. Born in Wantage Twp., NJ he had resided there most of his life.
Son of the late Charles C. and Caroline (Houston) Longcor Sr., he had worked many years as a Heavy Equipment and Crane Operator for the County Concrete Corp. Ledgewood, NJ. He was also a member of the AFLCIO Teamsters Union. Mr. Longcor was a Master Mason and fifty five year member of the Kittatinny Masonic Lodge #164.
Mr. Longcor was pre deceased by his loving wife of thirty seven years, the late Margaret (Wright) Longcor in November 2002. Survivors include his brother Richard Longcor of Stillwater, his sister Marie Iliff of Wanaque, his Step son Barry Hubert of Avondale, AZ and his step daughter Teresa Gaynor of Fredon Twp. Charles is also survived by his six step grandchildren as well as his five step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday April 29th, 2011 at 12:00 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ. Interment will immediately follow in the Beemerville Cemetery Beemerville NJ. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10AM to 12:00PM Friday.
