Little, Phoebe Jane
Little, Phoebe Jane age 92 of Ogdensburg, NJ died Friday evening February 1, 2013 at the Andover Nursing Home following a long illness. Born and raised in Ogdensburg on the Predmore family farm. Phoebe had also lived many years in Sparta and Wantage Twp., before moving back to Ogdensburg.
Daughter of the late John and Rachel E. (Willis) Predmore, she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sibling, loyal friend and homemaker. Phoebe enjoyed spending time with her family and was known as the family organizer and planner for all gatherings. Phoebe worked for 26 years at Ames Rubber Corporation before retiring in 1986.Mrs. Little was pre deceased by her Beloved husband John in 1954, her son Richard J. in 1987 as well as her thirteen siblings; Frank, Edward, Daniel, John, Martin, Clarence, Everett, Emmett, and Elmer Predmore, her sisters Edith Little, Clara Kays, Elizabeth Sliker and Anna Morris. Survivors include her daughter Joyce E. Smith of Ogdensburg, her grandchildren Wayne Little, Kathy Little, Judy Perentin and Jane Krueger as well as her great grandchildren Shawn, Colleen, Todd, Adam and Rebecca.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held Thursday February 7th, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ, immediately followed by interment in the North Hardyston Cemetery Rt. 94 Hardyston Twp., NJ. Visitation will be at the funeral Home Wednesday February 6th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
