Kravec, Martha
Our beloved Martha Kravec passed away peacefully on December 21st, 2012. The daughter of George and Martha Kravec she is survived by her sister Peggy, nieces June, Cynthia and Nona, nephews Walter and Stewart and numerous great (and great great) nieces and nephews.
Orphaned early in life, she was raised by her elder brothers, Michael and William, and sister, Betty, and through the support of her family, community and her indomitable perseverance she was able to complete her education and graduated from Beaver College with a degree in Business. She spent her entire professional career in various roles at Exxon Corporation and retired early to better enjoy the benefits of life.
Martha is fondly remembered for her dedication and love for her family, her joy of storytelling and reminiscing of the past, her outgoing and irresistible outlook on life, her eagerness to lend a helping hand and a remarkable generosity that she bestowed to her family over many years. And while her passing truly darkens our heart, our sadness is somehow tempered by simply only having to remember her unforgettable smile, spirit and energy and knowing that she will continue to live in the hearts of all that had the privilege of experiencing her love and friendship.
Private arrangements are under the direction of the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Elizabeth, 42 Broad Street, Elizabeth, NJ 07202.
