Kott, Jacqueline Evelyn
Kott, Jacqueline Evelyn age 95 of Newton, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday September 16th at the Bristol Glen Assisted Living in Newton, NJ. She was born and raised in Oakland, NJ. After marrying she lived many years in Hawthorne, NJ before moving to Newton in 2010.
Daughter of the late George and Alice Loesch, nee Anderson, Jacqueline was a graduate of the Pompton Lakes High School class of 1941. After graduation she worked for Bell Telephone in Paterson, NJ.
A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, she was a former member of the Ponds Reformed Church Oakland as well as the First Reformed Church Hawthorne, NJ. Mrs. Kott enjoyed cooking, sewing and arts and crafts. Jacqueline was predeceased by her beloved husband of sixty eight years Harold Martin Kott in 2011 as well as her sister Florence Alice Loesch-Everett.
Survivors include her daughter Alice Jacqueline Vigiletti of Newton, her sons Kenneth Harold Kott of Douglassville, PA and Karl Kott of Newton. Also surviving are her grandchildren Nicholas D. and Vincent J. Vigiletti, Andrea Kott Craig and Andrew Kott as well as her great grandchildren Sophia, Christopher, Jackson and Dominick Vigiletti, and Madeline and Lucy Craig.
A Graveside service will be held Thursday September 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Branchville Cemetery, Pines Rd., Branchville, NJ. Arrangements and online condolences through www.iliff-ruggierofuneralhome.com
