Kinsey, William McCoy
Kinsey, William McCoy age 69 of Newton died Saturday April 13, 2013 at the Newton Memorial Hospital. Born in Kinston, NC he grew up there and has lived in Newton for the past forty three years.
Son of the late William Franklin and Gertrude (Gooding) Kinsey, William had worked many years as a Machine Operator for the Newco Corp. of Newton, NJ. A hard working man, William loved spending time with his family. An avid classic car enthusiast, Mr. Kinsey will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Pre deceased by his sister Ida Lee Gardner, William is survived by his son Anthony L. Kays of Wantage Twp., and his daughter Billie-Jo Kays of Paterson, NJ. Also surviving are his brother Cecil Ray Kinsey of Newton, his sisters Sherbia Kelly of Dover, NC, Harriet Harper and Gertie Kinsey both of Kinston, NC as well as Hazel M. Coward of Newton, NJ. Additional survivors are his grandson Joshua H. Palmer, his nephews Robert Rufus Jr. and Michelle Coward, Tara Johnson as well as many other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday April 17, 2013 from 7-9 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home 156 Main St (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ 07860. Funeral services and burial will be held Saturday April 20, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Mills Memorial Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery 1300 MLK BLVD Kinston, North Carolina.
