Justin A. Vaughan
Vaughan, Justin A. age 29 of Wantage Twp., NJ died Saturday April 2, 2011. Born in Newton, NJ he lived most of his life in Lafayette Twp., NJ on the family farm before moving to Wantage seven years ago.
A 2000 graduate of the High Point Reg. HS, Justin was later graduated from the SUNY Cobleskill College Cobleskill, NY receiving his degree in Agriculture and Horticulture in 2002. A devout member of the Lafayette Federated Church and the Christian Boys Brigade, Justin also participated in mission work with the church youth group. An active member of the Sussex County 4H Milk Makers Club and the NJ Junior Holsteins Association, where he served on the National Judging Team. Mr Vaughan ran the Milking Barn at the Sussex County Farm and Horse Show NJ State Fare for four years. He also enjoyed playing basketball, baseball and football.
Survivors include his parents Jon W. and Hollie K. (Lincoln) Vaughan of Lafayette, his brothers William P. and his spouse Bobbie-Jo of Bushkill, PA and Darryl R. of Lafayette. His sisters Coral A. and husband Joseph W. Krause of Wantage, Krysten M. Vaughan of Groveport, OH, Colleen A. Kayla M. and Gail C. Vaughan all of Lafayette. His maternal grandparents William and Theresa Lincoln of Lafayette, his aunts Gail Lincoln, Linda L. and husband Ronald Pittenger all of Lafayette. His uncles David K. and wife Susan and Leonard A. and wife Becky both of Penn Yan, NY, Richard H. and wife Judy of Freeville, NY and Barry S. and wife Jane of Lafayette, NJ.
Memorial funeral services will be held Friday April 8th, 2011 at 6:00 PM in the Lafayette Federated Church #180 Rt. 15 Lafayette, NJ 07848. Memorial visitation will be held at the Church one hour prior to the services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt.206) Newton, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorials in Justin’s memory may be made to the NJ Suicide and Crisis Hotlines www.suicide.org.
