Jane M. Tyson
Jane M. Tyson of Newton, NJ passed away peacefully on July 10, 2022. Jane was the daughter of a foreign service officer. She lived in London, Cuba and Switzerland.
She graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University and was a member of Delta, Delta, Delta sorority.
In 1953 Jane married classmate William R. Tyson and joined him in the Philippines once he enlisted in the Air Force. They returned to the US after the war and Bill began his career at AT&T in New York City. He continued working as a marketing executive for AT&T in Chicago, Cincinnati and Basking Ridge, NJ.
Jane volunteered for many organizations including the Summit Art Center,
Questers and P.E.O. where she served a term as President of the NJ Chapter. She loved painting and the arts, antiques and music.
Upon retiring, Jane and Bill were able to spend many wonderful years
with family and friends at their home near the shore in CT where they enjoyed trips to Napatree Point.
Jane is preceded in death by her husband William Tyson, June 9, 2020. She is survived by her three children, Deborah Tyson-Multhaup, Paul Tyson and Jennifer Tyson as well as her five grandchildren, Natalie, Ty, James, Drew and Spence.
A memorial service will be held at a later time.
