
Holodinski, Adelaide
Adelaide “Addie” A. Holodinski (Harford), age 86, of Hampton Township, NJ died August 6, 2013 at home. Born in Sussex, NJ, she has resided in Hampton Township since 1947.
Daughter of the late Wallace B. Harford and Jessie “Longcor” Harford, she is also predeceased by her husband, George Holodinski in 2004, as well as 2 brothers; Wallace (Bud) Harford and Walter Harford and 1 sister Olive Reed, Addie worked as an executive secretary for many years at Newton Memorial Hospital, retiring in 1986. She also worked with the Sussex County Agricultural Extension and spent many years as a homemaker.
After WWII, Mrs. Holodinski served as a telegraph operator at Camp Kilmer in New Brunswick, NJ. Addie was a member of the First Baptist Church of Newton, NJ.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Barbara Holodinski of Hampton Twp. And Linda Davidowski also of Hampton Township, 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home 156 Main St. Newton, NJ on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 2:00PM. Memorial visitation will be Friday, August 9 from 1:00PM-2:00PM. Internment will immediately follow at Frankford Plains Cemetery.
