Grabowski, Elizabeth
Grabowski, Elizabeth age 88 of Clifton, NJ died Thursday January 31, 2013 in Branchville, NJ. Born in Passaic, NJ she had resided there and the Athenia and Allwood sections of Clifton for many years. Daughter of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Tolten) Failkowsky, Elizabeth was a devout and active parishioner of the St. Peter and Paul Polish National Catholic Church in Passaic for many years.
A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother sibling and friend, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her. An avid Bowler, Elizabeth also enjoyed gardening and most of all spending time with her family. Mrs. Grabowski was pre deceased by her four brothers, and is survived by her beloved husband of sixty seven years Leo F. Grabowski.
Also surviving are her son, Gary and his wife Ellen Grabowski of Stillwater, her daughters Arlene and her husband Bob Pepe of Lincoln Park, June and her husband Bob Petty of Stillwater, Lisa and her husband Erich Melsheimer of Cumming, GA, as well as her sister Helen Ducar of Milford, PA, her ten grandchildren, one great granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Saturday February 2, 2013 from 10:00 AM to Noon immediately followed by funeral services at noon in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Hospital www.stjude.org
