Frank, Lorenz C. “Larry” age 90 of Sandyston Twp., died Sunday November 15, 2015 at the Overlook Hospital Summit, NJ. Born Jan. 23, 1925 in Paterson to Walter and Anna M. (Oelschlager) Frank, Larry had lived many years in Paramus, NJ.

A US Navy veteran proudly serving during WWII aboard the U.S.S Nuthatch during the Normandy invasion. Larry was a member of the American Legion for 69 years currently with Post #139 Milford, PA. After the war he studied horticulture at the Long Island Agricultural and Technical Institute Farmingdale, NY.

Larry was the owner operator of Split Rock Nurseries Paramus, NJ for 65 years until his retirement and relocation to his beloved Sandyston Twp. Farm in 2001. Mr. Frank continued farming, growing vegetables for sale to local businesses as well as raising Pheasant’s for hunter’s right up to his present age.

An avid hunter and fisherman throughout his life as well as a supporter of the NRA, Larry will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Larry was pre deceased by his beloved wife Evelyn A. (Pajdick) in 1998. Survivors include his loving daughter Lydia F. Caldararo and his brother Robert W. Frank.

A memorial service will be held Sunday November 22, 2015 at 12:15 PM on the family farm in Sandyston Twp. Arrangements are under the direction of the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home 156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers memorials in Larry’s memory may be made to either the NRA www.joinNRA.org or the Seeing Eye Foundation www.seeingeye.org
