Forzano, Richard Joseph of Wantage Twp., NJ died peacefully Friday July 4, 2014 at his home with his loving family by his side and under the care of the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice. Born in Newark, NJ Richard grew up and had lived many years in Paterson, NJ. He also had lived in Clifton before moving to Wantage Twp. eighteen years ago.

Son of the late Dominic and Serafina (Paolillo) Forzano, Richard was a graduate of the Paterson Vocational High School. He later graduated from NJIT receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. A proud US Army Veteran, he served as a Ranger and Paratrooper with the 511 Airborne during the Korean War. He was a dedicated Engineer and Inventor with many Patents in his name, as well as the Owner of RJF Industries Cedar Grove, NJ. A parishioner of the St. Jude Roman Catholic Church Hamburg, Richard was also an avid writer and artist.

Richard is survived by his beloved wife Mary Ellen Quinlan, his sister Thelma Bloetjes of Hawthorn as well as his nieces Eileen and her husband Bernard Rochat and Mary VanderBrink and his nephews Raymond and his wife Kathleen Bloetjes and Richard Bloetjes.

Memorial visitation will be held Tuesday July 8th, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ. A Memorial Mass will be held Wednesday July 9th at 11:00 AM in the St. Jude RC Church #4-24 Beaver Run Rd. Hamburg, NJ 08419. In lieu of flowers memorials in Richard’s name may be made to the Karen Ann Quinlan Home for Hospice #99 Sparta Ave. Newton, NJ 07860.
