Feller, John Louis age 82 of Newton, NJ. Passed away peacefully Wednesday June 1, 2022 at Chilton Memorial Hospital. Born and raised in Paterson, NJ, John had lived many years in Hewitt before relocating to Newton in 2019.

Son of the late John Louis and Susan (nee Ricucci) Feller, John began his career in 1978 with the Phillip A. Hunt Corporation in Palisades Park, New Jersey as a Purchasing Agent. Following his work for several Large Chemical Corporations he was then employed by ISP Corporation in Wayne, New Jersey as a Purchasing Director. When John retired, his ambitions led him to establishing a successful bulk packaging company named, Contact One Packaging Solutions.

John was a loving and dedicated husband and father. He had a great sense of humor and he was always making his family and friends laugh. John loved his many trips to New York City especially attending many Broadway plays with his wife Evelyn. John had many interests, specifically in photography. Initially, photography was a hobby, but this passion led John to a rewarding profession. He became a member of the Professional Photographers Association, and eventually owner/operator of the Robert John Studio, Fair Lawn, NJ, where he specialized in weddings and portraits. John’s photographic talents had won him numerous awards for his notable work.

Mr. Feller was also a classic car enthusiast who also enjoyed hunting, and kayaking. John enjoyed helping others, he was kind, caring, and compassionate, always sharing with those around him. His outgoing personality made him excel not only with his hobbies but his work as well. John served as a Security Guard at the Halstead Middle School, and the Vernon Twp. Board of Education. He was a passionate gardener, woodworker, who also enjoyed cooking, canning, and his extensive travel throughout the United States and Europe.

John was is survived by his beloved wife Evelyn Angela (Evans), His two sons Jeffery and his wife, Traci Feller, of Hamburg, NJ and Ehren Feller of Butler, NJ, and his daughter Laura Sandve of Hewitt, NJ. Also survived by his sister Rosemary and her husband Jack Dunning of Wanaque, NJ as well as his grandchildren Eric and Joanna Sandve, Kevin and Ashley Sandve, Michael Sandve, John Sandve, and great grandchildren Archie Sandve, Charlotte Sandve, and Sam Sandve.

Memorial visitation will be held Saturday June 18th, 2022 from 12 PM to 2pm with memorial services beginning at 2PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home, #156 Main St.(Rt 206) Newton New Jersey, 07860 Online condolances through www.iliff-ruggierofuneralhome.com.
