Ervey, Roger William
Roger William Ervey, 68 years old, passed away on October 14th. Roger was born to Reginald and Anna Ervey of Dover, NJ, where he grew up. Roger graduated from Rutgers University and worked as a pharmacist at Andover Pharmacy, Thrift Drug, Shop-Rite of Newton, and Gerard’s Pharmacy in Denville.
Roger is survived by his loving wife Monica Ervey, son Matthew Ervey and son-in law David Bauer, daughter Elizabeth Ervey, daughter Rebecca Ervey and son-in-law David Bratton, and grandchildren Amelia and James Bratton, his brothers Robert and Richard Ervey, nephews and nieces Debbie, Ricky, Kevin, Glen, Jason and Jill Ervey, Jamie and Timothy Flaherty, and Emilie Zegre, whom he loved like a daughter.
Roger was an artist, a history buff, lover of music, avid sports fan, and an incredibly kind and moral soul, who lived for his family.
A memorial will be held at Stillwater Presbyterian Church on Tuesday afternoon October 18, 2016 at 3pm. Arrangements are under the direction of the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt.206) Newton, NJ.
