
Duffy, Diana P.
Diana P. Duffy of Newton, NJ passed away at the age of 76 on Sunday September 1, 2019 from a brief incurable illness. Diana passed away peacefully in her home with her devoted and loving daughter Barbara Beauvais of Orlando, FL at her side.
Diana was born in Jersey City, NJ where she resided for a time in Dumont followed by living many years in the Pleasant Valley Lake section of Vernon Twp. and also Wantage Twp. Her final home was located in Newton NJ where she found enjoyment in her surroundings and neighbors.
Diana was the second daughter of the late Alexander M. and Josephine (Miceli) Kasek, she was very independent yet loving and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Early in her life she worked for GTE Sylvania Corporation as a Key Punch Operator, in Towanda, Pennsylvania. Later in life she made a career change which led her down the path of her true passion, working in childcare.
As a talented artist, she also enjoyed very much the skill of cross stitching and was able to create many stunning masterpiece images of her favorite scenes and animals. She was a voracious reader and book collector and enjoyed living her life on her own terms. She will be missed by those who loved her.
Ms. Diana P. Duffy is survived in life by her beloved daughter Barbara Beauvais of Orlando, Fl. and her grandson Tyler Dima of Ormond Beach, Fl. Also surviving are her sisters Elizabeth Wilhelm and Barbara Kasek as well as nieces Donna Snyder, Kara Wilhelm, and nephews Gary Wilhelm and the late Edward Wilhelm. Of special mention are her stepchildren by marriage, Maureen Duffy-Folts, Colleen Tylka, James Jr., Robert, Patrick, Michael, and Joseph Duffy as well as other extended family and friends.
