Dixon, Patricia L.
Dixon, Patricia L. age 73 of Hampton Twp., NJ passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family Wednesday evening June 22, 2022 following a long illness. Born in Erie, PA, Patricia grew up in Rahway, NJ. She had lived most of her life in Hopatcong before moving to Hampton Twp., NJ in 2016.
Daughter of the late Warren and Katherine (nee Walters) Hanson, Patricia was a graduate of the Rahway High School Class of 1967. She later graduated from the Katherine Gibbs Business College. She had a long career as a Secretary with the Hopatcong Board of Education until her retirement.
A longtime member of the Hopatcong Senior Citizens, Patricia was also a volunteer with the Saint Clare’s Hospital Dover Campus for many years. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Patricia will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Dixon was predeceased by her brother James Hanson. Survivors include her beloved husband of forty-six years John G. Dixon, her loving sons Christopher and his wife Michelle Dixon of Hampton Twp., Kevin and his wife Michelle Dixon of Meridian, Idaho and Michael and his wife Danielle Kovach of Roxbury, NJ. Also surviving are her cherished grandchildren Christopher, Matthew and Jack Dixon, Michael, Joseph and Ryan Kovach, her brother Bob and his wife Jane Hanson of Andersonville, TN as well as her many nieces and nephews.
