Davis, Bernard W.
Davis, Bernard W. age 74 of Wantage Twp., NJ passed away Monday August 13, 2018 at the Barn Hill Care Center following a brief illness. Born in Newark, NJ Bernard has resided in Sussex County since 1991.
Son of the late Walter and Geraldine (nee Griffin) Davis, Bernard was a hardworking man throughout his career until his retirement in 2006. A loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, he enjoyed spending time with his family, landscaping his property and a bowl of good ice-cream. Bernard also enjoyed detailing cars in his “Man Cave” as well as the loyalty of his dog Mosby.
Bernard is survived by his beloved wife of thirty six years Felicia J. (nee Fair), his son Wesley and his wife Sherrell Davis of Newton, his daughters Janien and her husband Shannon Mason of Newton and Melanie Jordan of Livingston. Also surviving are his ten grandchildren, one brother, three brother in laws, four sister in laws as well as many nieces nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial visitation will be held Saturday August 18, 2018 from 10 AM to 12 PM with memorial services beginning at 12 PM in the Iliff Ruggiero Funeral Home, 156 Main St (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ.
