Dandorph, Evelyn “Nan” (née Martin) age 91, of Lafayette, NJ passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021, at Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice in Fredon, NJ, surrounded by her family. Born September 12, 1929, in East Newark, NJ, she lived for many years in Bloomfield and Jefferson Twp. before moving to Lafayette, NJ.

Evelyn was a waitress, who later became a successful entrepreneur with her own luncheon-ette in Dover for many years and was a fabulous cook. She enjoyed the simple things in life: bingo, bowling and the casino, but most important to her was family & friends and will be remembered by all the great meals she would prepare and the great stories she would tell.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her son, David James Martin, Jr.; her siblings, Wallace Malloy, Florence Gilbert and Lois Sembrot and her son in law Barry James Cupoli. Survivors include her loving daughter, Carleen Cupoli and cherished granddaughter, Kayla Schaffer and her husband, Brian; proud loving aunt of Isabelle Atwood, Michael Malloy, Sean Malloy, & many great nieces & nephews.

Evelyn was lovingly referred to as, The Q-Tip and was “Nan” to all of Kayla’s friends and will be missed by all that knew her.

Memorial Visitation will be held from 11 AM to 12 PM with Memorial Services beginning at 12 PM in the Iliff-Ruggerio Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ 07860 Saturday June 12, 2021.
