Cotter, Susan Ida Newman

To Sue’s friends and family, from Jason:It is with deepest regret that I must inform you that our sweet Sue has lost her battle with cancer. For those of you who may not have heard, Sue had been battling an aggressive cancer for the past several years. She was strong and put up a heck of a good fight, but in the end there was nothing anyone could do to make her better.

She is survived by her mother Judy, our daughters Aubrey (10) and Evelyn (6) and myself. She passed away at home with her family and friends present on Wednesday February 20, 2013.A memorial service will be held Sunday February 24th, 2013 at 1:00 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home 156 Main St (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ 07860. Friends may call at the funeral home two hours prior to the services for visitation.

I am also planning a less formal celebration of Sue’s life at our farm sometime this summer. In lieu of any flowers, I’d humbly request that comfort and prayers be directed toward Aubrey and Evelyn, who’ve been doing a remarkable job maintaining good spirits during this difficult time.
