Connotillo, Eleanore B.
Connotillo, Eleanor B. age 90 of Newton, NJ died peacefully Monday July 4th, 2016 at the Bristol Glen. Born in New York, NY she had lived many years in Manhattan before moving to the Cranberry Lake Section of Byram Twp. in 1968. Eleanor has been a Newton resident since 2011.
Daughter of the late William and Catherine (Connolly) Huthman, she was a loving and devoted homemaker as well as a Customer Service Representative in the complaint department of Hearst Publishing Co. New York, NY for many years. Eleanor was a devout parishioner of the Sacred Heart of Jesus New York, NY as well as the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church Andover Twp., NJ. She was a member of the Cranberry Lake Community Club.
A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, she enjoyed spending time with her family most of all. Pre deceased by her husband’s Gerald Phillips 1955 and Theodore Connotillo in 1988, her brothers Robert and Kenneth Hutman as well as her sister Rita Abbott. Survivors include her sons William P. Phillips of Goshen, NY and Thomas J. and his wife Della Phillips Rockaway, NY, her daughter Geraldine R. Barrows of Newton, NJ. Also surviving are her four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday July 8th, 2016 at 10:30 AM in the Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church Rt. 517 Andover Twp., NJ. Interment will follow in the Crest Haven Memorial Park Allwood Rd. Clifton, NJ. Visitation will be held Thursday July 7th from 7-9 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ.
