Cline, Doris age 82 of Branchville, N.J. passed away peacefully Friday June 17, 2022 at Newton Medical Center. Born in Newark, N.J., and raised in Lincoln Park & Wayne, N.J. Doris resided in Branchville and Morris Plains, N.J. between 1972-2017 and most recently Newton, N.J.
Daughter of the late Helmut and Bertha (nee Able) Jordan, Doris was the owner/operator of United Showcase. Alongside her husband Robert, she served as the executive administrator of the company in Moonachie, N.J. Doris will be remembered as an avid reader, skilled seamstress and crocheter / knitter. She loved to cook, bake and host the family gatherings. Known also as an avid gardener around her home, Doris enjoyed spending time with her family at the lake and very much enjoyed bowling with her sister in a league.
Doris is pre-deceased by beloved husband Robert J. Cline, I (Jan. 22, 2017) and her sister Eleanor Vinhage. She is survived by son Robert J. Cline, II and his wife Kathy of Hamburg, N.J., daughter Sharon L. McDonnell and her husband Robert of Lafayette, N.J. Also surviving are the “loves of her life”, grandchildren Brittany Larson & husband Andrew, Alex Cline, Zachary Cline, Robert (Bobby) McDonnell and Matthew McDonnell. Great grandchildren Cole Larson and Noah Larson.
Memorial visitation will be held Friday June 24, 2022 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. with a funeral service immediately to follow at 6:00 in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main Street (Rt. 206) Newton, N.J
