Casale, Elena Louise

Daughter of the late Robert and Josephine (Botticelli) Zilli, Elena was a graduate and class Valedictorian of the Aquinas High School Bronx, NY. She had worked many years as a Secretary for the Newark Board of Education. A parishioner of the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church both in Newton and West Orange, she also served as a Eucharistic Minister as well as a member of the Columbiettes.

Mrs. Casale had served many years as a member and volunteer for the Newton Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed summers at the family home in Point Pleasant, especially spending time there with her family and her Beacon Beach friends.

A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sibling, she was pre deceased by her brother Eugene Zilli. Survivors include her beloved husband Peter A., her son Andrew and his wife Susan of New Tripoli, PA, her daughters Christine Drogo of Chandler, AZ and Carol and her husband Frank Stracco of Hampton Twp., NJ as well as her four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
