Cambouris, Anne J.
Cambouris, Anne J. age 92 of Byram Twp., NJ passed away Friday July 30, 2021 in the Newton Medical Center. Anne grew up and had lived many years in Bloomfield, NJ before moving to the Cranberry Lake Section of Byram Twp. in 1960.
Daughter of the late Julius and Anna (nee Benevitch) Stachus, Anne was a graduate of the Bloomfield High School. She had worked many years as an Answering Service Operator in Dover, NJ. Ms. Cambouris was had been a member and past President of the Byram Businessmen’s Association, she was a member of the Cranberry Lake Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary as well as a volunteer for the Byram Twp. Intermediate School. Anne had also served as a Den Mother with the Cub Scouts in Byram Twp.
A loving mother, grandmother and sister, Anne was predeceased by her sisters Helen Dulkas, Jean Stathakis, Julie Pirrello. Survivors include her beloved son David J. and his wife Roseanne Cambouris of Byram Twp. and her grandson David and his wife Gloria Canazales Cambouris.
Visitation will be held Thursday evening August 5, 2021 from 7-9 PM in the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home #156 Main St. (Rt. 206) Newton, NJ 07860. Funeral Service will be Friday Aug. 6, 2021 at 10 AM in the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery Bloomfield, NJ.
